Program Integrity Assurance Review Process for the FCC Form 471

The SLD has started reviewing FCC Form 471 submittals for the 2018–19 E-rate funding year. This process is known as the Program Integrity Assurance (PIA) review. If, during the PIA review process, the reviewer has questions about the application, an e-mail will be sent to the contact person with a link to view the questions in the EPC.

It is important to note that a 15 day deadline is associated with each round of PIA questions. In order to ensure that you receive all communication in a timely manner applicants are advised to verify that the contact information in the EPC is current.

The May 19, 2017 SLP News Brief at http://www.usac.org/sl/tools/news-briefs/preview.aspx?id=773, provides additional information related to:

·         PIA Notification of application questions.

·         Applicant response guidance and deadlines.

·         Options to request an extension.
